Working with Leonie, James created hair designed around the fashion rather than independent of it. Shape, movement, texture and finish considered as part of the complete look, adapting his approach as Leonie moved between some of couture’s biggest names.
It’s a relationship built on understanding both the individual and the moment: knowing when hair needs to make its own statement and when refinement and restraint allow the fashion to take centre stage.
